Claire is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Epilepsy (Adult) in St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8. She was awarded BSc Nursing ,TCD in 2002 and worked in Intensive care in Tallaght University Hospital for almost 10 years completing PGrad ICU specialist nursing. In 2012 Claire joined the Clinical Care Programme for Epilepsy and having completed MSc Advance practice and PCert Nurse Prescribing with distinction she qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2017. She has worked on many projects; Pregnancy and women's health, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, Seizure Integrated Care Pathway ED, Inclusion health- prison service to name a few, all aimed at improving patient and family care in epilepsy.
