Karen is a PhD student in the FutureNeuro centre at RCSI. She graduated from NUIG in 2015 with a BSc in Anatomy and from TCD in 2017 with a MSc in Neuroscience. In 2018 she began her PhD in the laboratory of Prof. David Henshall at RCSI where she is studying the role of the epigenome in contributing to the development and progression of epilepsy.
