Neurological Research Award
FutureNeuro, the SFI Research Centre for Chronic and Rare Neurological Disease invites undergraduates to submit an application for our 2018 Summer Studentship Research Award.
The purpose of the Studentship Award is provide high-achieving science undergraduates, who wish to pursue a PhD, with practical research experience and an insight into neurological research.
The award is aimed at full-time third- or fourth-year (final year) undergraduates studying for a biomedical, computer science or life science degree.
Five research projects have been identified covering:
- RNA Editing
- Blood-brain Barrier
- Companion Diagnostic Devices
- eHealth for Meds Adherence
Applicants may select 1 project of interest.
There will be up to 5 Research Summer Studentship Award positions available (€2,000). Successful applicants will undertake the studentship on a full-time basis for eight weeks during the summer of 2018.
